We invite you to give to poverty alleviating and sustainable projects and programs developed and delivered by our host partners in their communities. By becoming a donor you become part of the growing community of active global citizens. By participating on a volunteer experience you have the opportunity to see where you donation is going, who administers the programs and meet and connect directly with the benificaries in the community.
How Can I Contribute?
Rebuilding Haiti with Developing World Connections:
A massive, 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti near the capital of Port-au-Prince on Tuesday, January 12th. The damage to buildings is extensive and the number of injured or dead is estimated to be in the tens of thousands. Developing World Connections has established a Rebuild Haiti Fund.
Your gift now will help in the rebuilding and recovery efforts – for children and families devastated by the earthquake and aftershocks in Haiti.

You may also stop in to the office in Kamloops or send a cheque or money order. Please do not send cash in the mail.
Join a Volunteer Experience:
Join us on a Volunteer Project today! By participating on a volunteer experience you contribute both your human and finanical resources. You work along-side local community members, getting your hands dirty on a sustainable building project. A substantial portion of the cost of the Volunteer Experience goes directly to the Host Partner for supplies, equipment and building materials, local paid labour and operating programs in the community.
The cost of an International Volunteer Experience is 100% tax deductible. We will issue a charitable receipt for the Program Cost plus the Participant's airfare. A Participant may also fundraise for the total Program Cost and Developing World Connections will issue charitable tax receipts to those who donate on their behalf.
Give the Gift of a Meaningful Adventure to a Participant (Partipant Initiated Fundraising):
Developing World Connections is commited to helping a Participant meet the cost of his/her Volunteer Experience through fundraising. You can help a Participant work on a sustainable development project by contributing to the cost of their experience. If you wish to contribute less than $50 Cdn please donate online through Canada Helps.
All Donations must be made to Developing World Connections in order to be eligible for a charitable tax receipt. All contributions greater than $50 CDN are eligible for a Charitable tax receipt. We accept cheque, money orders, debit or credit cards. You may also make a contribution on-line through Canada Helps, a secure, fast and convenient site exclusively built for charities. Canada Helps charges a 3% administration fee on each transaction but will issue you a charitable receipt for any amount above $1.00 CDN. If you know the country and Participant's information, you can click the Donate Now button below to help them out. If not please contact the participant for further information.

Making an Immediate and Lasting Difference (Monthly or Yearly Giving):
Developing World Connections Host Partners are are non-profits and grassroots organizations who work with and for their communities. Our Host Partners run sustainable development projects that involve the people and community stakeholders. They value the opportunity to make connections with our volunteers and understand that within these connections exists the windows of opportunity and hope for a better world.
You can continue making a difference in the community after the volunteer experience by making a monthly gift to a program. Monthly contributions can be made through your credit card. Please call our office to make arrangements to give to the Host Partner and program of your choice, 1.866.458.8209.
