As a non-profit international development organization, DWC tackles issues of poverty and social justice in collaboration with grassroots organizations across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Together, we build schools, homes, and livelihood centers, while improving education, health and water access in under-resourced communities.

Amina’s Story: The Power of Opportunity
Amina, a 14-year-old from rural Nepal, used to walk 10 kilometers daily to reach school, a journey that was both long and unsafe. Financial struggles at home also meant her family couldn’t always afford basic school supplies. But thanks to DWC’s Every Girl program, Amina received a scholarship, a bicycle, and the support she needed to continue her education safely. Today, she dreams of becoming a teacher and hopes to inspire other girls in her community to follow their dreams.
