Empower communities in Cambodia through education
Bridge of Life School is a grass-roots, not-for-profit organization providing free educational and community-based programming at rural sites in the Cambodian countryside. The organization started in July 2009. Most staff come from local villages and have a direct relationship to the communities where they work and are and passionate about trying to make people’s lives better. Their solid presence also helps ensure the long-term viability of projects.
Bridge of Life programming includes free English lessons, a free shuttle boat to transport kids in remote areas to the nearest government school, sewing courses, computer training and access to libraries with English books to borrow. These free resources have a great impact for those looking for more meaningful employment and a better standard of life.
