Nutrition and education, particularly during a child’s foundational years is important. A DWC team in Kenya is developing a water collection system to irrigate a garden at an impoverished school. The food from the garden will help provide necessary nourishment for students to attain their academic goals.
The team fabricated gutters to capture rainwater. The water collected will sustain the school garden during the dry season. The volunteers are also building a new fence to protect the garden.
